Five minutes of silence as you stop to wonder why
Five minutes of silence and you know you’re going to die
Five minutes of silence and all you can do is sigh
Five minutes of silence because there is no reason why

Thanks for that bit of cheer this rainy, awful day. ;) We had Trump's stupid parade on Saturday and now I'm learning that two Democratic lawmakers were killed Saturday morning. The world is getting crazier and scarier with every passing day.
Seriously, though, all of that aside, I did like the poem. May I share it with my poetry group?
